Today, we're excited to announce a new feature for Bunny Optimizer which takes that further than ever: Smart Face Crop.
Perfect crops, without the complexity
Smart Face Crop is a new feature added to the Bunny Optimizer dynamic image processing API. It uses an ultra-fast face detection system to automatically identify and frame the subject and in just milliseconds, creates a visually appealing profile photo to display.
This makes it easier than ever to allow your users to upload and display themselves in the best-looking way possible. With just a simple query string, Bunny Optimizer does all the heavy lifting, and your users get their profile picture nice and centered. No more manual editing, awkwardly cut-off pictures, or complicated cropping flows.
How does it work?
It's about as simple as it sounds, all you need is a single query parameter added to your image URL, for example:
