Cookin' up connections: Fluffle foodies

Our fluffle is our greatest treasure—a vibrant, global team that we're immensely proud of. With members on all inhabited continents and fluent in a rich array of languages, from Slovene and Spanish to French and Greek, this vivid mosaic of cultures is one of our biggest strengths, bringing loads of new ideas, perspectives, and yummy flavors to our table. And what better way to celebrate this diversity than through food?

Cookin' up connections 

Office gatherings often transform into global culinary festivals, with tables filled with delicious dishes taking center stage. Imagine the team coming together to craft Italian pasta, Mexican tacos, or barbecue on the terrace, turning the office into a lively classroom where we learn about each other’s cultures through the universal language of food.

But our culinary adventures don’t stop at the office. Every month, our Slovenian team gathers at a different restaurant for a tasty lunch, bonding over great food and conversation.

We’ve even brought our love for food to our remote team members by hosting online cooking sessions for the sales team. These virtual cooking sessions were fun and bonding, bringing the team closer despite the distance. Last year, during our team-building event in Barcelona, we took it a step further by organizing a cooking class to master the art of preparing authentic paella Valenciana.

We can proudly say that bunny.net is full of foodies, and our shared passion for cooking and eating brings us closer together, no matter where we are. Whether in the office kitchen, in a cooking class, or behind our computer screens, food is something that truly brings us together!

The food channel 

To keep the food fun going beyond these gatherings, we have a dedicated food channel on Slack. Here, our team members showcase their latest kitchen masterpieces, swap recipes, and dive into spirited discussions about the best street food or whether pineapple truly belongs on pizza. This channel is more than just a collection of food photos—it's a vibrant community that keeps us connected through our shared love of food.

Take Dejan and Domen, for example, who compete to post the most mouthwatering images of genuine Asian street food.

Then there’s Aaron, who tempts us all with pictures of his wife’s incredible baking creations. He’s also the one to put beans on everything (as a true Englishman) and make half of the bunnies jump to argue about their propriety. By the way, Aaron is the undisputed king of food content, regularly filling our #food channel with the most pictures and comments.

Our barbecue aficionados—David, Daniel, and Tilen—make everyone dream of spare ribs, steaks, and čevapčiči with their smoky masterpieces. And then there’s Bruno, a laureate of the Bunny Award and the proud owner of the title “Culinary King.” A master of Latin American cuisine, Bruno not only documents his own culinary creations but also shares the gastronomic wonders he discovers during his travels. Every bunny knows Bruno as the “Taco Specialist”—if he disapproves of a taco place, no bunny will dare hop there under any circumstances.

More than just a meal

The old saying, “Food brings people together,” couldn't be more true for bunny.net. Our culinary adventures go beyond just filling our bunny bellies—they’re about celebrating our diversity and building a stronger, more united team. Whether we’re whipping up dishes in the office, taking a cooking class, or sharing food stories online, these moments spark creativity, strengthen bonds, and remind us that we’re all foodies at heart.
