December in the Bunny Burrow is never just a countdown to the holidays. It’s a month where the pace slows down a bit, connections take center stage, and our festive-flluffle slack channel overflows with holiday cheer. This year was no exception. Across teams and time zones, our bunnies joined in on the fun and enjoyed the season together. We played games, shared a glimpse of our holiday traditions with our families, and of course sported our ugly sweaters. See what the Bunny Burrow was up to as the year wrapped up.
Holiday cheer in the Ljubljana office, for everyone
December fun kicked off in the Ljubljana office with an evening that was all about family, laughter, and a little bit of holiday chaos. Our littlest bunnies took center stage, unwrapping gifts, sharing excited giggles, and reminding everyone why this time of year feels extra special.
As bunnies came and went, traditional Slovenian potica made the rounds, adding a cozy, familiar touch to the celebration. Between sweet treats and fun conversations, the office once again sparkled with Christmas magic and carried that unmistakable end-of-year energy.

And because this is bunny.net, the adults couldn’t resist joining in. One of our big bunnies, David, was even caught on camera sitting on Santa’s lap, proving that growing up is optional, especially during the holidays.
A virtual Secret Santa with a few detours
This year, our bunnies came together for a virtual Secret Santa unwrapping party, proving that distance is no match for holiday spirit. Neja stepped in as Santa’s most reliable helper, handling everything from matching Secret Santas to keeping tabs on parcels as they made their way around the world.

Not every gift arrived as planned. A few went on unexpected adventures, some were sent back, and others are still enjoying an extended stay in customs.
Even with a few gifts missing in action, one thing was clear. Our bunnies know how to give thoughtful gifts, and there is nothing we enjoy more than seeing each other smile.
A week-long festive challenge, fluffle style
Festive Fluffle Week returned with daily prompts that quickly took over our #festive-fluffle channel. What followed was a joyful scroll through creativity across the Burrow. We saw Santas in every possible shape and form, babies absolutely losing their minds over Santa sightings, Nina’s brilliant DIY decorations raising the bar, and more than a few impressively hideous Christmas sweaters making their moment.

The challenge brought out some serious dedication. This year’s competition was tight, but a few bunnies managed to pull ahead. Daria took first place with an impressive 35 Santa votes, David followed closely in second place with 31 Santa votes, while Manca and Anton tied for third with 30 Santa votes each.
Congratulations to the winners of the years festive fluffle challenge. We’re already looking forward to next year!
Huge thanks to everyone who hopped in, shared their creativity, and fully embraced the fun.
Our annual Christmas dinner, from London to Ljubljana

This year’s holiday dinners brought bunnies together in two cities. Our UK crew gathered in London at Peacock-Angels Pub, while the Ljubljana table filled up with our Slovenian bunnies at the incredible slow-dining concept restaurant, Birdie. We were even more thrilled to have a few surprise guests join the celebration from Serbia!
The vibes felt easy and familiar. Good food, great company, and plenty of time to slow down and enjoy being together. Conversations drifted between highlights from the year behind us and excitement for what’s still to come.
Spending time together like this, simply sharing a table and reflecting on the journey, was the perfect way to wrap up the year and look ahead to an even better one.
Until next year
As December came to a close, one thing stood out more than anything else. Whether we were celebrating in person or across screens, the sense of connection in the Bunny Burrow never wavered. This month reminded us that it’s the shared moments, the laughter, and the people behind the work that make everything we do feel meaningful. We’re closing out the year grateful, energized, and excited for what lies ahead, ready to hop into the new year together.
Happy Holidays, everyone!
