The great Bunny get-together: Fluffle-building in Mallorca!

Our last Fluffle-building in Spain was such a blast that we couldn’t resist doing it all over again! This time, we hopped over to Mallorca, the biggest gem of the Balearic Islands, with its sunny Mediterranean vibes. Late September turned out to be perfect timing–we got to soak up some serious sunshine with temperatures hovering around a cozy 25°C (77°F).

As our fluffle keeps growing, we gathered 45 of our 75 bunnies and made an Iberostar hotel our temporary home, just a few minutes from the beach. The hotel had it all—pool, spa, and those jaw-dropping sea views. And as we’re self-confessed foodies, you bet we enjoyed the food–it was next-level!

Night one? Pure magic. We kicked things off with a rooftop dinner, catching the golden hour as we looked out over the island: good food, great views, and even better company.

Day two? We woke up to sunshine and a warm breeze–perfect for exploring Palma de Mallorca. We split into groups and hit the streets, checking out the city’s architecture and cool, green spaces (plenty of shade, thankfully!). Palma surprised us with its clean and lush vibe, making it a total delight to stroll around.

But the day wasn’t just about sightseeing. In the afternoon, we hopped over to the beach for our Bunny Olympics! Split into four teams, led by our management squad: Kevin (VP of Engineering), Dejan (Founder and CEO), Cedric (VP of Finance), and Manca (Head of People Ops), we competed in sprinting, paddleboarding, and kayaking. Spoiler alert: Manca’s team took the win, proving that People Ops really knows how to pick the best bunnies!

Day three brought out the Bunny Awards, our annual tradition of celebrating our most awesome bunnies. For the second year in a row, we handed out awards, and this time, Lovro, our creative genius, wrote a custom poem for each winner! It added a fun and heartfelt touch that made the moment unforgettable.

That afternoon, we set sail on a catamaran and spent the day soaking up the sea breeze, barbecuing, jamming to music, and, of course, taking a dip in the sparkling water. Bliss!

And yes, while it sounds like all fun, we didn’t forget to talk shop. We spent time planning for next year, setting priorities, and brainstorming how we can keep delivering the best for our users. Dejan even moonlighted as a photographer, snapping pro shots of the team. He’s a motivator through and through, no matter the role!

To wrap it all up, we discovered even more hidden talents during our final night at a karaoke club! Who knew we had so many singers and dancers in our fluffle?

All in all, this trip showed how close-knit and talented our fluffle is, and we’re already counting down to the next adventure.
