UniqCast and bunny.net help operators bring live TV to audiences everywhere

Posted by:

There’s a lot that goes into launching a TV service.

First, there’s the platform: apps for every screen, live channels, video on demand, catch-up, and the back office that keeps it all running. Then there’s the delivery layer, getting streams to viewers reliably across markets and networks. Building both from scratch means taking on the platform and delivery infrastructure yourself.

That’s where UniqCast and bunny.net come in. We’ve been working side by side for a while, serving telecom operators and ISPs. UniqCast’s TV platform delivers video through Bunny CDN, and that integration already runs real operator services. Today, we’re making the partnership official, so operators get a single cloud-based stack from teams that know how to work together.

How the setup works

UniqCast's IPTV and OTT platform handles the service side, from subscriber management and integrations to apps for set-top boxes, Smart TVs, mobile devices, and browsers. Bunny CDN distributes the video across markets and networks, and that same setup is already running across real operator services.

Operators can:

  • Launch quickly, without building their own delivery infrastructure.
  • Get a TV service built for them, tailored to their market, brand, and business model.
  • Reach audiences outside their network, across other ISPs and countries.
  • Scale and add features without having to rethink their architecture.

European roots, global projects

Our roots are European: UniqCast is Croatian-Slovenian, bunny.net is Slovenian, and both companies build with EU data protection in mind. Between us, we serve customers around the world, and UniqCast alone runs 40+ active projects on five continents. Operators work with two experienced teams, keep control of their subscriber relationships, and know exactly who runs the stack behind their service.
