A December to remember: wrapping up 2024

As the year winds down, December brings a special kind of magic to Bunny. While Ljubljana didn’t get its share of snow this year, our bunnies around the globe enjoyed plenty of holiday cheer. Festive lights, gifts, and the scent of gingerbread filled the air, adding a warm, homely touch to the season. Here’s a look back at the heartwarming moments that made this December unforgettable.

Santa, Elves, and a Surprise Bunny Visit!

We kicked off the festivities in our Ljubljana office, which was transformed into a winter wonderland for an evening full of laughter and joy. Santa made a special visit, bringing magic, gifts, and a theatre show that had the kids completely captivated. The highlight? The spark in our little bunnies’ eyes made the evening truly special.

However, the surprise didn’t stop there. Anton transformed into our Bunny mascot, spreading smiles, posing for photos, and adding to the festive fun.

A huge shout-out to our People Ops team for making this magical evening possible—what a perfect way to kick off the holiday season!

Games, riddles & holiday joy

Forgetting about our long-distance fluffle-mates is never an option. That's why we gathered virtually for a holiday-themed event packed with games, riddles, and friendly competition. It was an afternoon of laughter, bonding, and festive spirit. Thank you to everyone who joined and made the event such a memorable part of our December!

Festive fluffle advent challenge

From December 4 to 18, our People Ops team kept the festive spirit alive with a creative advent challenge. Each day brought a new holiday-themed task, such as sharing traditions and decorations, writing poetic wishes, and sharing favorite Christmas songs.

One of the standout moments was the "comfort food during colder months" challenge. Northern Hemisphere bunnies shared hearty dishes to warm the soul, while our Southern Hemisphere friend Brody brought a summery twist with frozen treats like Zooper Doopers! After all, December isn’t a cold month everywhere.

The baking challenge delighted foodies, flooding our channels with mouthwatering photos of cookies, poticas, and gingerbread creations.

And, of course, the Ugly Holiday Jumper Challenge was a fan favorite, with Aron earning the title of “Ugly Jumper Champion” in spectacular style.

Aron’s title as the **Ugly Jumper Champion** was nothing short of well-deserved!

Congratulations to Alan for an outstanding victory—he didn’t just win; he dominated the competition, scoring double the points of the second-place contender, Darja, who was followed very closely by David.

Alan’s victory was extraordinary—he won by an impressive number of points!

This was our very first challenge, and what an incredible start it was! The energy, creativity, and participation from everyone set the bar high—and we can’t help but feel this might just become a tradition. Right?

Holiday dinner: cheers to 2024

On December 18, we gathered for a holiday dinner at Kovač in Ljubljana. The evening was filled with delicious food, heartfelt conversations, and plenty of laughter. We were thrilled to welcome Yumika and Dejan, whose visit made the night even more memorable. It was the perfect way to celebrate the year and toast to an exciting 2025 ahead.

Secret Santa tradition

What’s a Christmas tree without gifts? Our Secret Santa tradition added a special touch to our Ljubljana office once again. Gifts were exchanged, smiles were shared, and the tree stood proudly adorned with surprises underneath. These are the traditions that make the season so magical.
